When I visited YUZU, I enjoyed the vegetable tempura as an appetizer. Then, I tried a few delicious sushi rolls like the Rainbow Roll, the Double Shrimp Roll, and the Black Dragon Roll. I would also recommend ordering the Donburi, like the Chirashi Don. Ask for a side of the chili sauce!

Geisha Sushi is a relaxed and reliable restaurant that serves fresh sashimi and creative sushi rolls. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. Geisha Sushi is a block from Riverside Park in a beautiful portion of Harlem, and the restaurant offers takeout, so planning a picnic in the park is a fun adventure.
The pork steamed buns were very good, but the sushi is the true star of the menu. I most enjoyed the Flying Dragon Roll with shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, and eel sauce. Other popular menu items include the Manhattan Roll with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, fresh tuna, salmon, avocado, and wasabi mayo, and the Paradise Roll with spicy lobster, fried banana, then wrapped in soy paper and served with mango sauce.

MamaSushi offers Asian-Latino fusion dishes created by Chef David Nuñez. The restaurant is open daily between 12:00 pm to 1:00 am, with extended late-night hours on the weekend. MamaSushi is by the 145th Street metro, so finding your way to delicious sushi is easy!
The house rolls are incredible. I enjoyed the Hot Mama with tuna tartare, smoked salmon, cucumber, avocado, falapeño, sweet plantain, and ginger, and the Chimi Roll with Dominican chimichurri. Try the Fiesta with spicy tuna, yellowtail, avocado. The nigiri is fresh, and the appetizer menu is far-reaching.

Sushi Sushi is an unpretentious Japanese cafe that serves sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, and rice bowls. Located near the Manhattanville Community Center, the restaurant is open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. The restaurant offers catering and free delivery.
I would recommend The Park Roll with spicy yellowtail, cucumber, striped bass, avocado, and mango sauce. The classic rolls were great; I enjoyed the Jalapeno Avocado Mango Roll, the Spicy Shrimp Avocado, and the Spicy Tuna Roll. The lunch and the dinner specials include free soup with your choice of two or three sushi rolls!

Kikoo Sushi offers a comfortable and casual atmosphere. The restaurant serves sushi, sashimi, and ramen. With a beautiful mural on the wall greeting guests as they enter the space, the entire dining experience is heightened. The restaurant is open between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm and is located within walking distance of the Cathedral Park train stop.
The restaurant offers a three-roll combo, which I tried, and I thoroughly enjoyed my choices: peanut avocado roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spicy yellowtail jalapeno roll. I would also recommend the specialty Surf and Turf roll and the Pink Lady Roll. Definitely don’t skip out on the Seafood Ramen!
Chopped Parsley

The restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday. With some outdoor seating, the space is great for a date night on a warm evening. Chopped Parsley is a hidden gem in the heart of Harlem.
I enjoyed the Une Onigiri and the vegetarian udon noodles. Other popular menu items include the spicy tuna don bowl and the daikon Ume. Furthermore, I thought the crab Kani salad was refreshing. Definitely grab some mochi treats for dessert before departing!

I enjoyed the smoked salmon and avocado roll as well as the yellowtail roll. The special rolls are wonderful; try the Hawaiian Roll, Dragon Roll, or Amsterdam Roll. For a large group, order one of the sushi or sashimi roll platters. Notably, the restaurant offers a sushi-making night, which is perfect for an event with friends or an exciting date night.

J&J Asenjo ROKC is a Japanese restaurant that serves ramen and offers a full raw bar. The eatery is also known for sophisticated creative cocktails. Conveniently located along Broadway, the restaurant is open for dinner daily. The unique presentation of all dishes creates an exciting atmosphere for every diner. This place is a lot of fun!
For oysters, bourbon, and a side of sushi, visit ROKC. The spicy shrimp bun with fried shallot, chive, and spicy mayo is delicious. From the raw bar, try the Sweet Petite oyster from Prince Edwards Island. The classic cocktail menu includes favorites like a paper plane and a sazerac.

Charlie’s Place is located just a block from Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem. The restaurant is open between Monday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The interior is playful with a bright green ceiling and floral painted walls. Charlie’s Place offers free delivery on all orders!
The Sushi Bento Box is delicious and such a great deal at under fifteen dollars. It includes four pieces of a California roll, two pieces of tuna sushi, two pieces of salmon sushi, a seaweed salad, and three dumplings. The dragon roll and the chicken teriyaki are both popular menu items.

Ceetay is a vibe–the interior is decorated with old newspapers, and the kitchen is creating creative sushi rolls and authentic Japanese dishes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner except on Mondays, and it is located just over the Third Avenue Bridge.
The lunch special with appetizers, mains, and sushi rolls is one of the best deals in the city. I enjoyed both the Rainbow Roll and the Dragon Roll–two of Ceetay’s specialty sushi rolls. Notably, the Spicy Lady egg noodle dish is a perfect pairing with any sushi bite. The restaurant also offers various beers, sake, and wine.
Nikko

Nikko is a contemporary Asian-fusion establishment serving sushi and sake with great lunch specials. The restaurant is open from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm daily; happy hour occurs daily between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Look for the large red lettering on the exterior of the restaurant as you walk down Amsterdam Avenue.
DoorDash has named Nikko as one of their top-rated and most reliable restaurants, so delivery is definitely an option! I enjoyed the rock shrimp tempura, the chicken dumplings, and the cold sesame noodles. On the sushi menu, I would recommend the spicy salmon or the sea scallop.
