Like its namesake Humphrey Bogart, this spot is as classic as classic gets. The menu would read well on a postcard, and when you’re working with a menu that short, execution is even more critical. This monstrous steakhouse just a few minutes outside Boston proper has been serving up enormous steaks, delicious seafood, and cherished memories for over forty years. Just off the Mass Pike, The Stockyard features an expansive dining room, large horseshoe bar, and several private event rooms for special occasions.
Their menu is large, with something for just about everyone. But, you come to The Stockyard for a steak. In particular, the center cut 42-day dry-aged New York strip crowned with Lobster Oscar is worth dying for.
The Stockyard also offers a more relaxed atmosphere than most, so it’s just as appropriate for beers and football with your buddies as it is for a celebratory steak night.
